floorimage is changing its name to roomimage. With this name change of their room photo portal, cooperating partners Blue Studios GmbH and ESIGN Software GmbH wish to express the expanded interactive possibilities of the room photographs. Apart from dynamic floor installation, any of the objects in the room can now be colored as desired, thereby allowing the user to simulate the colors of the room in question. These expanded interactive features will be incorporated in Web Floor Studio 2.0.

Intuitive hotspot interactions

In the first step, those striking room objects, whose coloring will change the character of the room, will be determined individually. Following photo processing with the easyBo Photo Service, the room objects will have interactive hotspots through which the user intuitively accesses the color panels.

Via mouse click, the user colors the desired room objects until the color templates match his or her own room. Then, each floor installed in the room can be judged in terms of color and style. An illustrated printout of the current product information sheet will help users with the subsequent product selection and final purchasing decision.
